Welcome to Everest Montanha Algés. With over 20 years of experience, our team brings the authentic flavours of India and Nepal, with a little of Portuguese influence.
Why choose “Everest Montanha” for our name?
Our name, Everest Montanha Algés, comes from Mount Everest, the tallest mountain in the world at 8,849 meters, in Nepal. It shows the deep roots of Nepali culture in our food and how proud we are of the mountain. “Montanha Algés” connects us to our home in Portugal, where we bring the best flavours to your table.
Meet Our Manager
Our manager, has been leading with excellence for over 10 years. Dipak moved to Portugal in 2011 and makes sure every guest feels welcome and enjoys their meal.
About Our Chefs
Head Chef (middle): With over 10 years of experience cooking near Mount Everest, our head chef perfected his skills. From 1998 to 2001, he worked in Saudi Arabia, followed by a decade in Qatar (2001-2012). Since 2017, he has been cooking with us in Everest Montanha Algés, Portugal.
Sous Chef (left): His journey began in India (2013-2015) and continued in Dubai (2016-2023). In 2023, our sous chef came to Portugal looking for a better life and joined our team.
